Keen to own a share of a barrel? Find some friends to share a full barrel, or we can link you up with others to purchase a barrel together.
We’ll send six-monthly samples in the proportion of your ownership. For example, someone who owns 50% of the barrel would get a sample twice the size of someone who owns 25% of the barrel.
We’ll provide advice on the appropriate addition of water during maturation & when we think the barrel is ready to be bottled. Where a consensus is not reached between the owners on key decisions, we reserve the right to make the decision for the group.
At the time of bottling, each person receives a share of filled bottles in proportion to their share in the barrel. The person with the largest share gets to keep the barrel where the barrel has been purchased as part of the sale.
Where two or more people have equal largest share of the barrel, we encourage the parties to reach agreement on an arrangement for one party to purchase the barrel off the other equal largest owner(s). In the absence of agreement, Amber Lane is able to purchase the barrel from you.
