Distillery Open Days

Amber Lane hosts open days at the distillery one Saturday each month from 12pm to 4pm.

We also host a blending class from 4pm - 5pm where you can make your own unique whisky blend.

Meet the distillers, sample exclusive releases & products straight from the barrel, & brush up on your whisky knowledge.

Our distillery is located at 438 Yarramalong Rd, Wyong Creek NSW 2259.

We offer two main options for private whisky tastings event at the distillery, but we can also develop a unique offering to suit every preference.

ADVANCED TASTING

Our Advanced Tasting class includes a blending masterclass, with each attendee creating their own unique whisky blend.

INTRODUCTORY TASTING

Our Introductory Tasting class is for those who want to become more confident in the basics of whisky appreciation.

For whisky drinkers - a deeper dive into how great whisky is made…

  • Taste 5 different whisky expressions - learn how barrel-type, age & alcohol strength influence the whisky experience.

  • Experience the new make from our distillation process - appreciate the flavours from the underlying base spirit used in whisky production

  • Learn how to detect flavours & aromas through olfactory training, the whisky flavour wheel & techniques such as the Double Pour Comparison

  • Blend your own whisky in our unique whisky blending master-class, using samples from the Amber Lane barrel warehouse

  • Learn about the world of whisky appreciation, with expert tips on how you can take your whisky appreciation to the next level.

  • Purchase bottles of the whiskies sampled at special event prices

Duration: Two hours

Cost: $50+GST/head (NB minimum booking $600+GST)

Optional catering: for an extra $12+GST per head, we can cater a full cheese and fruit platter to accompany the tasting.

Introductory Tasting

Duration: 90 Mins

Cost: $35+GST/head (NB minimum booking $400+GST)
