AMBER LANE SCORES FOUR GOLD MEDALS AT ROYAL TASMANIAN WHISKY AWARDS

Amber Lane Distillery has scored four gold medals at the inaugural Royal Tasmanian Whisky & Spirits Awards - the most of any whisky distillery in the competition.

Amber Lane took home four gold medals in the single malt whisky category - a class with 73 entries & just 13 gold medals awarded.

The awards, announced last week, saw Amber Lane receive gold medals for its Equinox, Liquid Amber, 2026 Sherry Lane & yet-to-be-released Equinox Distiller’s Reserve expressions.

Gold medals were awarded for whiskies rated outstanding or exceptional, notching up 90 - 100 points on tasting.

Trophies for major award winners will be announced on Thursday, August 27 at a special function at the Crowne Plaza Hobart - keep your fingers crossed for a win!
