AMBER LANE RATED ONE OF THE WORLD’S BEST WHISKY PRODUCERS
Amber Lane has been rated as one of the world’s best whisky producers, recording some of the highest marks globally at the prestigious 2026 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
Amber Lane received two double gold medals at this year’s awards: its yet-to-be-released French Kiss whisky received one of the world’s top scores of 97/100, while its popular 2026 Sherry Lane release was awarded an equally impressive 96/100 - the best results ever achieved by the whiskymaker.
The San Francisco World Spirits Competition, now in its 26th year, is the world’s largest spirits competition, recognising the best spirits globally.
Double gold medals are only awarded to entries that receive a unanimous gold medal for all judges on the panel, making it one of the most prestigious honours in the industry.
The awards take Amber Lane’s national and international gold medal count to more than 34 - an incredible feat for a distillery that has only been in-market since 2021.
“We are beyond excited to receive this level of international recognition for our whiskies,” Amber Lane Distillery co-founder, Rod Berry, said. “We’re definitely booking our tickets to the awards ceremony in San Francisco later this year!”
“To receive some of the highest marks in the world for our whiskies speaks to the outstanding quality of spirit we’re producing. Since our inception, we have been committed to making whisky that is the best in its class, using premium barrels and maturation techniques drawn from France’s Cognac region, to create something that’s truly special. “
