JINGLE ALL THE WAY: AMBER LANE DISTILLERY RELEASES 2025 SLEIGH BELLS
Christmas has come early for Amber Lane fans, with the release today of its 2025 Sleigh Bells - a tribute to the festive season.
The limited release sherry cask expression uses some of Amber Lane’s oldest spirit for a whisky that revels in the aromas and flavours of Christmas.
Expect notes of French nougat, brandy custard, Choux pastry, raspberry ripple ice-cream, dark chocolate, raisins, dried figs, cinnamon and cloves.
The 2025 Sleigh Bells is the third release of Amber Lane’s internationally acclaimed Sleigh Bells expression. The inaugural release, launched in 2023, was rated Australia’s best small batch whisky at the World Whiskies Awards, while the second release picked up multiple national gold medals.
Amber Lane Distillery co-owner, Rod Berry, said the 2025 release was the best Sleigh Bells’ expression yet.
“This is Christmas in a bottle. It’s a sherry bomb, with all the complexity and character that whisky drinkers have come to expect from our Sleigh Bells’ releases.
“It’s made from 6.5-year-old whisky, utilising some of our oldest spirit, so it’s deep, rich, and delicious. It’s a very special whisky, designed to be savoured with those you love this Christmas.”
The Sleigh Bells’ release wraps up a landmark year for Amber Lane, which included its Equinox dram being named Australia’s best whisky at the Royal Australian Spirit Awards, as well as best overall distilled spirit and best small batch spirit.
The distillery also picked up gold medals at the 2025 Sydney Royal Distilled Spirits Show, the Australian International Spirits Awards, the 2025 International Wine and Spirits Competition and the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, and featured in Halliday’s inaugural spirits guide.
Sleigh Bells is the latest addition to Amber Lane’s small batch range, which also features 2025 limited releases like Sherry Lane (now sold out), Noble Lane and Silk Road.
